Angelface Pink Snapdragon

Counting down to the last plants of the groundcover series, today we'll focus on this little beauty....the Angelface Pink Snapdragon.   If you need a little height with a stalk of flowers towards the top of the plant for that final splash of color in your flower bed, this is the perfect plant to choose.  It loves sun and regular watering.
Unfortuneatly it did completely die over the winter with the freeze.  However, I think it's a cheap purchase for the summer and fall pleasure that this plant provides. Place this next to the purple False Heather or the Dwarf Cup and you'll have a spectacular arrangement of color. It grows to around 18-24 inches and when pruned, it will bush out even more. Here are some reasons to consider this beauty....
Blooms all season; heat and drought tolerant plants; grape-scented foliage; low maintenance.
                                                             • Deadheading Not Necessary
• Deer Resistant
• Drought Tolerant
• Fragrant Foliage
• Heat Tolerant
• Landscape Plant
• Low Maintenance

Well I still think the Javelina would eat them as they will eat everything:)  In our extreme heat, this Snapdragon will need regular watering, but I can report that they do love sun and indeed do well here in Tucson.  One more groundcover to...um....cover:)  Until tomorrow gardening friends......
