Several weeks of 80 degree weather brings an awakening to the peach trees of Tucson. During the 2nd week of March, our trees all over town began to flower. I don't know why people don't plant more of these beautiful trees into their landscape. They flower in Spring and create a lovely fruit in July. Here are some pink pics from El Presidio to make the mind wander......

At first they appear as pink nodes.......and then........ Now imagine......branches full of them.....  And you have perfection after a dreary winter ends.............    These are from the El Presidio Garden. Two trees of the Red Baron Peach and Elberta Peach, but different shades of pink....interesting.....    Opuntia is a bloomin.......    |
