Shah Rukh Khan, who is filming his latest action movie Don 2 in Berlin, predicted Friday that the film's success would encourage millions of Indians to visit the German capital.
"You will have problems getting rid of all the Indians again," Khan joked at a press conference.
"We are proud that we have discovered Berlin for Indians," the Bollywood star said, adding the city could supplant Paris and London as favourite European destinations.
The action thriller, which also showcases Indian stars Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani, features famous Berlin landmarks - including a scene in which Khan appears to dive 125 metres from a building near Berlin's TV tower.
Kunal Kapoor is disappointed and upset. And it's all because of the stories that he replaced model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal in the thriller 'Don 2'.
Buzz was that Arjun's character Jasjeet will be now played by the 34-year-old Kunal, who has dismissed the reports.
"This is not true. I haven't replaced Arjun in 'Don 2'. It is very disappointing and upsetting," said Kunal.
"His character doesn't exist in the film and mine is a fresh character altogether," he added.
Arjun reportedly moved out of the movie on financial grounds. The sequel retains the original cast that includes Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani.
Meanwhile, Kunal has also been learning to fly a single engine Cessna 172 at Sagar in Madhya Pradesh since the last two years. He is now "finally" waiting to get his licence.
"I am going there next month. I am still 20 hours away, so I'll finish that and probably finally get my licence," Kunal said.
Last seen in 'Lamhaa', Kunal's other future projects include 'Doga' and 'Chamkila'.
Arjun Rampal, who played a small but crucial role of Jasjit in Farhan Akhtar's Don, says he will miss being part of the cast in the sequel.
"I am not upset... But will miss being part of Don 2. Some characters cannot be taken forward in sequels. Similar thing happened with Jasjit's (essayed by veteran actor Pran in the original) character. They decided to go ahead with totally new characters," Arjun said.
The film which is a sequel of Akhtar's remake of the 1978 Amitabh Bachchan starrer will go on floors in October and will be shot in Germany.
Rampal said this goes to prove that there are no favours in friendship.
"Farhan gave me 'Rock On!' and 'Don' and we have good memories. But friendship does not necessarily mean that I be part of all his movies," the national award winning actor felt.
Don 2 will see Shah Rukh Khan playing the title role and will also star Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani and Om Puri. It will be produced under Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's banner Excel Entertainment. Arjun said he will go to Germany to meet the entire cast and make up for his absence.
Arjun Rampal is miffed with reports of him being replaced in Don 2 because he demanded more moolah.
He says, "These are all baseless rumours. Farhan and I decided that the role wasn't working out like we'd planned and then mutually decided that I should not be part of the film. That's all."
Arjun Rampal and Farhan Akhtar's creative collaboration has come to a stop for now. After working together in 'Don' and 'Rock On' (for which Arjun won a National Award), the two have decided that Arjun will not be a part of Farhan's next 'Don 2'. Apparently, they had creative differences over how the character Arjun played in the first movie would develop in the second installment.Arjun confirmed the news by posting on his Twitter page, "Hey Guys, Yes it is true won't be part of Don 2. Wish the team all the success I am sure it will be a super film."

In their earlier outing — Andaz —both these beauty pageant winners were equals because they had just started out. However, now PC is leagues ahead of Lara, and the ex-Miss Universe is taking up Don 2 as a challenge. She wants her look to be something spectacular because she has to try and steal PC’s thunder. Incidentally, Femina had shot Lara and Shah Rukh Khan for their cover and the two looked terrific as a pair.

His shoulder surgery and Indian Premier League matches put him out of the silver screen action for a while. Now Shah Rukh Khan is all set to do daring stunts in the sequel to "Don - The Chase Begins Again", though there will be no double role.Director Farhan Akhtar will shoot "Don 2" with the original star cast from May 2010 in Ireland and Berlin and says Shah Rukh will do some of the most heart-in-the-mouth stunts, making it his most audacious actioner yet.
"He's always game for the audacious. But the health problems really frustrate him," said Farhan referring to the superstar's shoulder surgery this year.
Sources say there will be no double role for Shah Rukh in "Don 2".
Shah Rukh underwent a successful arthroscopic surgery for acute pain in his left shoulder at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai in February. He needed to rest for a month after the surgery, which had put on hold the filming of Karan Johar's "My Name Is Khan" till March 14.
"This is why he allotted dates in 2009 to 'My Name Is Khan'. It requires very little physical exertion whereas 'Don 2' is a kick-ass role," said a source.
When the proposal to do the sequel first came up, the superstar was very sure it would have to go beyond the first part in terms of locales, action and drama. "Don 2" will be the first Indian film to be shot in Dublin, Ireland.
"We're shooting 'Don 2' in Dublin. No Indian film has been shot there. We want to make sure that the sequel goes ahead of the first film. While the first part was a remake (of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Don'), the sequel is an original script and would be much tougher to film for Shah Rukh and Farhan," producer Ritesh Sidhwani told IANS.
And there's Priyanka Chopra for company again. Though the actress has apparently been left out of "Dostana 2", she's very much part of "Don 2".
"We're very much going ahead with the original cast of Shah Rukh, Priyanka, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal and Om Puri. Only those who died in the original won't return, obviously," said Sidhwani.
