Happy Saturday.  Today is my regular monthly Saturday post at Everyday Cricut - the fabulous Cricut blog run by Melanie and Joy.  If you have not already been by EC you should hop on over there for all of the details on how to make this fun two page layout using only one cartridge, after you finish here of course.

Happy Saturday everyone.  Sorry to have been MIA all week - I was dismantling my Christmas decor and working on some Spellbinders projects.

To make up to you for being gone all week I am the Saturday designer at Everyday Cricut.  Okay.  Really.  It is just my normal Saturday at the Everyday Cricut blog but I AM sharing!

This week's project is called, She said yes!  My older son proposed to his girlfriend during the Christmas holidays and Crissie said yes to marrying Aaron!  As you might have guessed, my husband and I are thrilled. This layout is one that I will actually use in their scrapbook, but the photos were quickie computer printouts.  The real photos are still being printed.

 Oh guess what??  It is that extra special Saturday of the month where Melanie and Joy from Everyday Cricut allow me to be their third Saturday designer!  I like these two women so much and it is such a treat to be part of their team!  This week I have a fun and festive Christmas layout to share - Home for Christmas!

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it is my day as the Saturday designer at Everyday Cricut!  Melanie and Joy have returned to Christmas holiday projects, but I wanted to share one last Thanksgiving project.  Besides I am doing a week of Thanksgiving projects here at Busy with the Cricky and I did not want to change my theme!

My featured project at Everyday Cricut is a four part Thanksgiving hostess set:  place cards, wine glass tags, decorative plate pumpkins, and Yudu printed napkins (previously featured here).

Hello scrappers, happy Saturday.   I love the third Saturday of the month because those AWESOME ladies at Everyday Cricut (woot, woot for Joy and Melanie!) allow me to contribute to their blog.  And this month's project for Everyday Cricut ties into my blog party 200K celebration:  I used the Halloween cuts from HOLIDAY CAKES!  I wanted to show those of you who might need some ideas that the cake cartridges are not just about fondant and gum paste cutting! Happy Saturday!  It is my week as the Saturday designer at Everyday Cricut.  I was channeling Tim Burton this week as I created the Everyday Cricut layout, Drop Dead Gorgeous Diva.  I used three cartridges to cut the layout elements, Happy Hauntings, Rock Princess, and Plantin Schoolbook.  Complete details of the layout and products used are discussed at the Everyday Cricut blog.  The cut file is available in the left column of this blog or by following this LINK.  I hope you enjoy scrapping your divas!  

Speaking of divas - or in this case diva girlfriends - I will be spending the afternoon at the movies seeing Eat, Love, Pray with my friends Peggy, Suzanne and Kathy.  We will be celebrating My Friend Kathy's birthday, which is Sunday.   Happy Birthday Kathy!!!

Hi there!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  Today is my regular Saturday as a Designer at Everyday Cricut.  Joy and Melanie have graciously allowed me to do a bit of self-promotion via their blog.  Today I am sharing one page of my two page layout, July 4th.  The second page is just as cute as the first, but I am only sneak peeking one of the two pages.

The DVD set is on schedule to release this week, at which time the pre-order price will be removed and the price will increase a bit.  I hope you have already ordered your copy!!

Happy Saturday everyone.  It is the third Saturday of the month and that means it is my day to share a project at Everyday Cricut.  I have a summertime project that is colorful and fun, made from the Cindy Loo cartridge.

I also have a cut file to share, Lazy Summer Days, located in the list of downloadable cut file in the left column of of this blog. The layout requires only two cartridges, Plantin Schoolbook and as stated above, Cindy Loo.

It is the third Saturday of the month and that means it is my Saturday on Everyday Cricut.  I am so thrilled that Joy & Melanie trust me to be part of their Saturday team.

This week I used Cricut Design Studio and created a two page layout - Like Purses & Shoes You Can't Have too Many Friends!  I used Forever Young, Plantin Schoolbook and Calligraphy to create this layout.  The cut file is available for download - see the left column of the blog.

I am so excited - this is my launch as part of the Saturday Design Crew at Everyday Cricut.  I am so honored that Joy and Melanie asked me to join them on this one Saturday each month.  I thought I might like to work on themed projects, featuring similar cuts, or colors, or both.  This month I am sharing two butterfly cards made with the Sentimentals cartridge. 

The features wings which open from the center of the butterfly's body.  I created this effect by welding extra wings to the shadow butterfly cut.  There are more details on this in my post today at Everyday Cricut.  I embellished the butterfly with flowers, pearls, gems and doodle dots. 

The second card features the same butterfly cut, only smaller, the same paper colors, but is designed to be a more traditional rectangular shaped card.  The inside of the card has an additional butterfly, even smaller, as well as colored paper.  Again for more details on how this card was made and designed (I off hints on designing with Cricut Design Studio), visit Joy's and Melanie's Everyday Cricut.  Just click the Everyday Cricut blinky in the left column.

Were you one of the many, many crafters who enjoyed Joy's and Melanie's Ustream tonight?  I was there with so many others and thoroughly enjoyed Melanie and Joy "acting like themselves!"  They are so funny and so energetic; I really enjoy them.

Their big announcement was the addition of Spectacular Saturdays - a group of four designers that will be contributing to the Everyday Cricut blog once a month.  I am thrilled to be part of that group!!  I will be posting to Everday Cricut each Third Saturday of the month!!!
