Pratik Babbar, who is so vague on most occasions, (you need to be introduced to him at least half a dozen times before he actually starts saying a normal hello) is apparently turning out to be a fine talent.
Those who have seen Kiran Rao’s art-house film Dhobi Ghat say that it is Pratik’s show all the way and that he actually held up to even Aamir Khan. Reports on Pratik are pretty encouraging in Dum Maro Dum and My Friend Pinto as well. Guess this young actor is more ‘with it’ in his screen performances than he is with his personal contacts. Fair enough, so long as he delivers on screen, who cares!
