Happy Friday everyone!! We are going to have a gorgeous weekend here! It's supposed to be in the mid 60's, and then winter returns to us next week. We'll probably have snow and freezing temps again. So I'm going to enjoy it while I can. I threw this card together really quick tonight! I LOVE these Moonlight Whisper stamps from Kraftin Kimmie!  This image is Charlotte, and I LOVE the twitch in her eye. LOL!

I kept this one VERY simple, and went wild with the distressing. I thought Charlotte looked just a smidge distressed and maybe just a tad frayed around the edges, so kind of tried to match the feeling of the card to her. I even took the machine stitching all over the place for this one. The DP is from Nitwit Collections and the cardstock is Bazzill. The sentiment is my very own, again to reflect what Charlotte might be feeling. I even took my scissors to that beautiful silk ribbon.  I'd like to enter this into Kraftin Kimmie's challenge "Seeing Red"  Boy am I'm pushing it on this one! I've got like five minutes left! LOL! Happy Tuesday everyone! It's time for a new Papertake Weekly challenge, and this week it's "Cut it Out". So you can use your punches, die cuts, or just cut your image out with your scissors! We're being sponsored this week by the fabulous Wendy over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo! I chose to use this absolutely adorable penguin from Kraftin Kimmie called Oliver! I fell head over heels in love with this little guy as soon as I saw him last year and had to have him. Well it just so happens that Kimmie sent me another Oliver stamp in my Guest Design Team package, so some lucky person out there is getting ready to win him! Oliver is colored with Copic markers and then cut out and popped up for dimension. The hearts were cut from Nesties and the icicle punched border is from  a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is computer generated. I used Bazzill cardstock for the base, Kraft cardstock for matting, and the PP is from Nitwit Collections. The red pearls are Kaiser and the ribbon is May Arts. So as you can see, I used the adorable Skiing Miles by Steven Leary for my project today, along with the sentiment that comes along with him. I thought he would be the perfect size for a gift card holder, and tis the season! Right? So that's exactly what I did! I think this is perfect for a couple of ski passes (we're only an hour outside of Tahoe). Miles is colored with Copic markers and then cut out using oval and scalloped oval Nesties. I added some punched snowflakes courtesy of a Martha Stewart punch and that was it!  Oh, and the PP is digital from Nitwit Collections. So that's it for me! It's time for a new challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog, plus we're continuing the sneak peeks for the new release and blog hop that happens Sunday, Nov 14th! The challenge this week is "funky fibers"! So use cool ribbon, twine, rick rack, etc.  My sneak peek today is of this gorgeous Krafty girl called Sabrina the Spinner colored with Copic markers.

Cardstock is Bazzill and PP is from Nitwit Collections. I stitched on all the panels then added the matching gingham bows along with some rick rack that I had in my stash. I used this particular paper cause it felt so country to me, and the one pattern is like a quilt. Sabrina comes with an accessory stamp plus the sentiment that is shown. BONUS!!! Good morning and happy Friday!! It's time for a brand new challenge from Wags 'n Whiskers. This week our challenge is to use acetate, vellum, or tissue, and it's brought to us by the fabulously talented Diva Tracy. For my card, I chose to work with this adorable image called Sweet Danni and Bella. I just LOVE her! She's colored with Copic markers and then cut out with Nestabilities. The entire card front is acetate.

I cut out the scalloped edge on the inside and the "ho ho ho" with my Cricut Expression. The "ho ho ho" is completely covered in red stickles.  The bow is made from May Arts silk ribbon and a stocking charm is hung from it. Are you ready for another fun sneak peek at the new Kraftin Kimmie release? I'm excited to present to you, the adorable Annie the artist! Isn't she just too cute??!! I wanted to draw a big round yellow happy face on the canvas, but didn't trust myself. I didn't want to ruin my colored image. Just call me chicken! LOL! But you should see what some of the fabulous Krafty girls have done with this stamp! I'm telling you, they are amazing!  Anyway, Annie is colored in Copic markers (chalk was used on her cheeks)  and then I added some fun flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts in the corner of the frame that was made with Martha Stewart PAP set.

I really wanted to use some fun, happy colors with this image. The cardstock is Bazzill and the DP is some I've been hoarding since last year from American Crafts. The bow again is made with May Arts silk ribbon and I dangled a fun heart charm from it. that's pretty much it for this one. I left it pretty simple and fun! Oh my gosh, you have no idea how excited I am!!! I was asked to be a Krafty Guest for the month of November for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! I think I probably blew her away with how fast I screamed YES! LOL! I love, love, love her stamps!!  So I'm totally excited to say that today is my first posting. The challenge hostess for this week is the amazingly talented Tara, and the challenge is "How Distressing"!  If you want a chance to win the stamp featured on Tara's card,  please be sure and play along with the challenge!  Just pop over HERE for all the details.  My card is very simplistic, but man did I ever distress the heck out of it!!  For my image, I used the beautiful Clara.  I adore her outfit and colored it up with Copic Sketch markers. I used lots of chalk ink around the edges of the paper, and then I got out my scissors. By the time I was distressing the last layer, my hands were cramping so bad that I couldn't seperate my fingers!  I need to look into one of those new distressing tools. Shopping time!!! LOL!  

Look what I did to that pretty pink silk ribbon! There oughta be a law!!  LOL! I dripped Copic refill ink onto it, and then I simply used a marker on it until it looked dirty enough to me. For the next step, I grabbed my scissors again and it felt like a slasher flick the way I was going at the poor ribbon! LOL! For a final touch, I  took my Copic marker and "flicked" it with my finger over the top of Clara's image  to try and splatter some random dark spots. I'm thinking it would have worked a little better had I first dripped a couple drops of refill ink onto the tip of the marker. The cardstock is Bazzill and the PP is from Nitwits. Yay! We made it through Monday! LOL! I don't usually care for Mondays, so having them behind me is a pretty good thing! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week it's a sketch challenge that is being sponsored by Whiff of Joy! . I love sketch challenges! It totally takes all the guesswork out of designing a card! And this one is really cool. For my card, I chose to use some awesome Basic Grey papers from the Max and Whiskers line. Love, love, love these papers!! And then I had to pair them up with a couple of Kraftin Kimmie stamps.

They're colored with Copic markers and she's cut out and popped up, and he's cut out with Nestabilities and popped up. I've been wanting to do this card since I got this cute Zombie stamp. I just think she looks like she had one hell of a fun night the night before! LOL! Happy Tuesday! Are you feeling froggy today?? LOL! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and if you're a regular PTW fan, then you know it's sketch week! This week we have another wonderful sketch by the fabulous Dawny (Pink Piggy), and we're being sponsored by the fabulous Kraftin Kimmie! I totally and completely LOVE Kimmie's stamps, especially the Moonlight Whispers line! They are sooo cute and quirky! I mean seriously, can you look at this stamp and not smile? I had to skew the sketch just a bit because of the height of my stamp. Sorry Dawny!! *smiles*

I've had this adorable DP from 3bugsinarug for a couple months just waiting for a use for it. And when I got Lillith from Lacey at Stamp and Create, I knew I had a great match! Lillith is colored with Copic markers. The flowers were cut with my Gypsy and the Paisley cartridge. The buttons are Basic Grey and the sentiment is computer generated with the CK Cute font.

I don't know if you're familiar with Kraftin Kimmie stamps. I just recently discovered them myself. But I LOVE them! They're fun, whimsical, and some are just a little bit quirky. Just like me!! LOL! This adorable stamp is from Kraftin Kimmie's Crissy's Cuties called Lucy and Ricky. LOVE IT!!

I saw this fun, fun sentiment on my friend and DT Sister's blog, Donna Mundinger! She made an absolutely adorable card with a skunk just the other day, and used this cute sentiment. So I just had to borrow it from her. Thank you for all your inspiration, Donna! The stamp is colored with Copic Markers. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch. Those little hearts in the corners of the stamped image are the little hearts punched out with that same border punch. I love the size of them!

So how is everyone doing? Are you ready for the holidays?? I'm still working on it, and feeling a little better about now, more so than I did a week ago! But do you realize we only have one weekend left before the big day? That really makes me panic. LOL! With today being Tuesday, it's time for another challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week we're sponsored by Toodles and Binks. It's sketch week with an awesome sketch from Dawny.

I used a cute Kraftin Kimmie stamp (Oliver the Penguin) I got from Stamp and Create. I colored this cutie with copic markers and used some fun fluff on his hat. Then I cut him out and popped him up off the machine stitched mat. A Martha Stewart border punch was used for the scalloped edges, and the snowflakes are from a MS punch as well. The sentiment stamp is included with Oliver the Penguin. DP is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzill. I also used some Kaiser half backed green pearls in the center of the snowflakes (which are also popped up). Tied a bow with my bow easy, and this one was done.

We made it through Monday. YAY! LOL! Tuesday means it's time for a new Papertake Weekly challenge, and this week it's a sketch challenge by the sweet and talented Dawny. And guess what else...we're being sponsored by Kraftin Kimmie! I don't know if you've checked out these adorable stamps, but I love them!! I think my absolute favorite is Drucilla and I just HAVE to have some stamps of her. She's got that little crazed look in her eyes that I can totally relate too! Especially going through perimenopause! LMBO! Anyway, Now, not only is Kimmie sponsoring our challenge this week, she was also kind enough to give us PTW gals some stamps from her new release to play with! Isnt' that cool??!! I chose to use this adorable Gift Emmylou stamp. She's colored with Copic markers and placed on a frame which I cut out from Gypsy Wanderings with my Gypsy and Expression. (Gypsy and Expression available at Hallmark Scrapbook).

Paper is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzil. I added a border made with a Martha Stewart punch, a beautiful snowflake charm I got from Lacey at Stamp and Create , and the flowers were again cut with my Expression, but I'll be danged if I can remember which cartridge I used. Sorry!! The green sprigs are another Martha Stewart punch.
