This holy shrine is situated in the capital Ahmadabad and is devoted to Lord Swaminarayan, an epoch maker(1781 to 1830). It was built by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, recently in 1992 and is the largest temple in the state. It is highly remarkable for its great height(108 feet) and its 1.2 ton gold plated image of Lord Swaminarayan.
