The successful box office results of the Telugu film “Arundhati” are well known by now, but what is not so known is that the dialogue "Bumbalee" (meaning Wow what a girl!), which Sonu Sood (pictured above) delivered in the movie, has had such an impact that it has become a ringtone or caller tune for many people in South India.

It has been claimed that it is the highest downloaded piece in any language so far.

Ask Sonu about it and he says, "It has become a huge rage down south and I could never believe that it would become so famous. It has become as popular as Gabbar Singh's dialogue - 'Kitne aadmi thay'.

“Even a 5 year old child can narrate the whole dialogue without faltering.

“Every single phone has it and everywhere I go people scream it out as soon as they see me. It is a great feeling and trust me when you get so much appreciation for your work your will to work becomes even stronger."

For Sonu’s sake, we hope that the impact the dialogue has made down south will be replicated when the Bollywood remake of “Arundhati” releases.

Telugu producer M. Shyam Prasad Reddy is making the film in Hindi.

Sonu Sood, who played the main antagonist in the Telugu version, will play the same part in Hindi.

Anushka, the actress who played the lead in the Telugu 'Arundhati', is likely to be the leading lady in the Hindi version though the makers had originally wanted to cast Anushka Sharma.
