Australia has emphatically decided that it wants nothing to do with sharia law. Attorney-General Robert McClelland said, “There is no place for sharia law in Australian society.” He wants newcomers to embrace Australian values and culture.
In other news, the Syrian government says that the reports of the discovery of mass graves in Deraa are false. Videos have surfaced on the internet that purport to show mass graves in the city, but the authorities deny their existence.
